Classic Car Blog- Durham MG Club Beamish 2008 Show

2nd June 08 Durham Club Beamish 2008 show. What a day, the forcast was for wet and for once unfortunatly they were correct and it never stopped raining all day. This did not dampen spirits too much and a few cars did not show and a few classics were changed for modern MG's (ZS, ZR and TF's) but there were still over 100 cars on the show field. Fortunatly we had the gazebo so it got the most use it has ever had in the time that we have had it. Normally the show goes on until about 5P.M but with no sign of the rain stopping the presentations were done early and we started to move out just after 3.

The good thing about Beamish museum is that even if the weather is poor there are plenty of things to see and do and we spent time in the tea room and going round the museum on the trams.
